Another big field of 47 members tackled the Wollongong layout on January 19 th . The
course was set up for good scoring and this was reflected in the results. An
impressive 21 members managed to play to their handicap or better. Winner on the
day was Ian Flood with 47 points followed by Pete Schafer with 44 and Mark
Nightingale taking 3 rd place with 42.
The real highlight of the day was Mark Nightingale’s Hole in One on the 8 th . He
obviously likes that part of the course. In the same event last year he Albatrossed
the Par 5, 9 th . Congratulations Mark both mighty fine achievements.
The next game is a 2 Person Ambrose at Boomerang on February 23 rd . Please let
me know if you want to be paired with someone, otherwise you’ll be randomly
allocated a partner.
