Jamberoo 27-10-24

Game 7 of the 2024/25 season was played at the challenging Jamberoo course on
October 27th . Once again we encountered the rev heads attending the annual
Jamberoo car show which led to some minor delays on the first tee. To score well at
Jamberoo you must respect the creeks and deflate the ego a bit (can you really carry
200m with your driver??) Subsequently only one member, Steve Casey, broke
handicap and won the day with 38 points. Second was Mitch Tremain with 36 points
and third was Dean Watson, who beat off 7 other scores of 35, on a countback.
The pub was abuzz with many families present for the Halloween afternoon. This
only added to the atmosphere and those who made it back enjoyed yet another
quality lunch and a few drinks.

The scoring app. has been trialled over the last 2 games and on the Canberra trip
away. If you have any feedback, positive or negative please inform Lee. Personally, I
find it very easy to use and for those members who have never really grasped the
stableford scoring system it will be an absolute no brainer.

The next game is on November 24th at Port Kembla and is round 2 of the club
championship. Tee off 7.12am. Let me know if you want your name added or
